Based on the 1958 movie of the same name, the series follows the journeys and adventures of a wandering German Shepherd dog. Homeless by choice, the dog travels the country on freight trains, visiting a different locale (and meeting a different human cast) with every episode. With every story, the dog’s bravery, intelligence, and good deeds save the day.
